Meta pixel on the guide pages, only with your consent
On the pages of our free guides (addresses starting with /gids/), we ask whether we may use the Meta pixel. Only if you click Accept does your browser load the pixel from Meta. It then reports to Meta that you viewed the page, downloaded the guide, completed the questionnaire or opened the booking link, so we can see which Facebook and Instagram ads lead to a download. If you click Decline or make no choice, nothing is loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser and you can change it at the bottom of the guide page. Meta processes these data under its own privacy policy. The rest of the website does not load the Meta pixel.
Links in our ads can contain a campaign code (utm_source, utm_campaign, utm_content). The guide forms send that code along with your request, so we know which ad it came from. It is kept only for the current browser session and contains no personal data.
Other advertising tracking removed
Jakency no longer uses the OpenAI advertising pixel or the Google Ads tag on this website. These scripts are no longer loaded and form submissions are no longer reported to these advertising platforms as conversions. The associated advertising consent banner and preference controls have been removed.
Storage from earlier visits
On your next visit, a local cleanup removes the old Jakency advertising preference and the accessible first-party cookies and browser storage associated with the former OpenAI and Google Ads integrations. It does not load either provider, send data or create a new tracking identifier. Unrelated browser storage is left unchanged.
The website cannot remove cookies stored on other domains or erase data previously received by advertising platforms. You can also remove stored site data through your browser settings. Contact us with questions about previously collected data.
Forms, bookings and external links
Web3Forms processes the details you submit so Jakency can receive and answer your request. Contact and SEO scan forms continue to work without advertising tracking.
Booking pages use an embedded Calendly calendar. Loading that calendar contacts Calendly, which has its own storage and privacy settings. Removing our advertising integrations does not remove this booking service or its settings. WhatsApp and social links open external services; their policies apply there.
